Quick Select Keys7Every action choice has one letter highlighted. Except:in text areas, you can quickly select a choice by pressing:the highlighted key. If more than one choice has the same2letter highlighted, press the same key repeatedly.

Check Boxes7Check boxes can be identified by the bracket characters6[ ]. You can choose more than one box from a group of9check boxes. Each selected item will have the "X" in the4box. Tab to the appropriate check box and press the(Space Bar to turn the setting on or off.
Option Buttons3Option buttons can be identified by the parenthesis9characters ( ). Only one button from an option group can/be selected. The selected item will have the
5in the box. Tab to the selected option group and use9the appropriate arrow keys to move to the desired option.
Action Buttons6Action buttons perform specific functions for a dialog5box. These appear within the dialog box as a command9surrounded by a single or double line border. The double7line border indicates this is the default action if you
press Enter.
List Menus/Use the Up and Down (
) arrows to move between5items in a list menu or for quick access, highlighted5characters can be used to move directly to a specific5item. Select the highlighted item by pressing Enter.

7Check Boxes - Click within the [ ] to mark or unmark a. check box. An X designates a marked box.
;Editing - To move the text box cursor, click on a specific, character position within the text box.
7 To mark a text block, move the mouse cursor to the5 first or last character. Then click and drag to7 the other end of the text block. When you release8 the mouse button, all the text you have marked will
be highlighted.
:List Menus - Select a list menu choice by clicking on it.: Optionally, you can select a list menu choice and the: default action at the same time by double-clicking on
the list menu choice.
8Manipulating Windows - To move to another window, click& anywhere within the other window.

8 To relocate a window, click and hold anywhere along8 the top border, drag the window to the new location9 and release. An outline displays the size and shape8 of the window while you drag until the mouse button

9Pull-Down Menus - Display the appropriate pull-down menu8 by clicking on the menu bar choice. Move the mouse7 to your pull-down menu choice and click to select.: Clicking on a location not in the pull-down menu will. clear the pull-down menu from the screen.
5Scrolling - Click on one of the arrows at the top or5 bottom of the scroll bar to scroll one line. To8 scroll a page, click just above or below the marker7 box. Drag the marker box along the scroll bar and7 release to scroll to a different page or location.
